Matthew 9:6 "But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority of earth to forgive sins.." Then He said to the paralytic "Get up, take your mat and go home"
In this portion of scripture, we see salvation and healing together. Jesus forgave this man and healed him.
In the church today, people struggle to get healed. People attend healing crusades and services and the pastors pray for them. Why dont christians claim that healing themselves? Every believer has the power to call upon God for healing.
Salvation and healing always come together. They are twins!
Sicknesses was never a part of God's plan for his people. It is a result of sin, of the devil. If you are a child of God, sickness and disease are illegal in your body!!!
1 John 3:8 "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work"
Every believer ought to experience physical healing. Whenever we partake of the Holy communion, we partake of the body and blood of Christ. Let us look at Christ on the cross. The front of the cross is salvation but the back of it is healing.
Isaiah 53: 5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him" That's salvation. "and with his stripes we are healed." That's healing.
The blood of Jesus was shed to forgive our sins but His body was broken for our healing!
Psalm 103: 2-3 "Bless the Lord, all my soul, and forget not His benefits, who forgiveth all thine iniquities, (Salvation) who healeth all thy diseases(Healing)"

The power of salvation and healing is in Jesus Christ and no other!
Acts 4:10 "then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed."
Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved"
When we come to the Father in Jesus's name, we ought to expect both forgiveness of sin and healing.

The cross revealed in the old testament
Exodus 15:26 "For I am the Lord that heals you" Before God said this, He showed moses a tree in verse 25. That's the cross.
Numbers 16:46 "Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for the people"
Numbers 21:8 "Make a bronze serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”
All this were signs and indications of the cross of Jesus Christ to come! Look at numbers 21:8. The people looked at the pole and they were healed. All we have to do is look! Look at the cross!

Dont listen to lies!
Matthew 20:30-31 "Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
Whenever you cry to God for healing, the devil will tell you to be quiet. You ought to shout louder and go after Jesus! receive your healing!

In isaiah 53:5, it doesnt say "by His stripes, they are healed". If thats the case, healing is for someone else. But it says "by His stripes, we are healed". It belongs to us christians!!!
So pray and ask God to heal you... It is your legal right!
